Indosat Sustainability Governance
Sustainability is a strategic priority fully integrated into Indosat's transformation agenda and led directly by the Board of Directors. As part of its robust governance framework, the Board of Directors sets the strategic direction and key priorities for sustainability through the Indosat ESG Northstar. The Board of Directors and the Board of Commissioners also play an active role in reviewing, providing guidance on, and approving the Sustainability Report to ensure transparency, accuracy, and compliance with applicable reporting standards.
To ensure consistent implementation across the organization, the Board of Directors established the ESG Steering Committee (ESG Steerco), comprising Directors and Chiefs from key business functions with direct responsibility for the Company's material ESG topics.
The ESG Steerco serves as the Company's primary governance forum for sustainability. It provides strategic direction, oversees the management of ESG issues, monitors sustainability performance and impact in alignment with Indosat's long-term vision, and evaluates progress to drive continuous improvement toward the Company's sustainability targets. The Committee regularly receives updates from relevant business units and ESG initiative owners, reviews program progress, identifies new initiatives, and ensures the effective and consistent implementation of ESG practices across all business operations.
